The founder and owner of Foutz Studios, LLC, John Foutz has been actively participating in productions both in front of the camera and behind it for many years. Although he was making short movies with his dad's super8 movie camera by age 12 and completed his first feature length screenplay in high school, he doesn't really consider his career starting until 1987 when he begin working in a small TV studio. Already a photographer, he applied his framing skills once again to pictures in motion. He was also given the opportunity to write, storyboard, direct and produce several commercials. Editing was all analog at that point, a hassle John does not miss with the non-linear editing systems of today.

As an actor, he understands how to write good dialogue. As a director, he speaks the language of acting and can relay what he needs from an actor. He has written and produced many shorts films.
